Privacy Policy
Last updated 2 August 2026. Applies to the SatisFaxion apps for Android and iPhone, and to satisfaxion.app.
The short version. There is no account. SatisFaxion does not ask for your name, email, or phone number. Every PDF tool runs on your device and uploads nothing. When you send a fax, the document is uploaded only for as long as the transmission takes, then deleted the moment the fax reaches a final status. We do not sell, rent, or share your data, and there is no advertising or analytics tracking inside the app.
1. Who we are

2. What the app collects

3. What the app does not collect
- No name, email address, postal address, or phone number.
- No account, password, or sign-in of any kind.
- No contacts. Saved recipients are typed by you and stored only on your phone.
- No location data.
- No advertising identifiers, and no advertising of any kind.
- No third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK inside the app.
- No reading, indexing, or scanning of your documents for any purpose other than turning them into the fax you asked us to send.
4. Your document, and what zero retention means
A fax cannot be sent without the document leaving your phone. Being straight about exactly what happens matters more than a slogan, so here is the whole sequence:
- You tap send. The PDF is uploaded to our server over an encrypted connection.
- The server counts the pages, charges the correct number of credits, and places the file at a randomly generated address that is not listed or guessable.
- Our transmission provider fetches the file from that address and dials the fax.
- The moment the fax reaches a final status, delivered or failed, the file is deleted from our server. If it failed, the credit is refunded at the same time.
A scheduled fax is the one exception worth naming: if you schedule a send for later, the document is held until that time arrives, up to seven days, and is then deleted on the same rule. Cancelling a scheduled fax deletes it immediately and returns the credit.
We do not keep a copy, a thumbnail, a backup, or an archive of the document. The fax record that remains in your history is metadata only: the number, the page count, the status, and the time.
5. What stays on your phone
Every document tool in the app runs locally on your device and uploads nothing: scanning, cleanup, straightening, signing, initials, freehand drawing, typed text, highlighting, redaction, rotating, deleting and extracting pages, reordering, merging, watermarking, page numbering and Bates stamping, compression, metadata stripping, password protection, OCR text recognition, and converting a PDF to images.
Your documents, your signatures, your initials, and your saved recipients live in the app's private storage on the phone. They are not synced anywhere. Deleting the app deletes them.
6. Who else is involved
- Telnyx transmits the fax. They receive the destination number and the document in order to dial it, and they keep their own transmission records under their own policy. This is unavoidable: a fax has to be carried by a carrier.
- Google Play and the Apple App Store process all payments, depending on where you got the app. We never see or store your card details.
- Our hosting provider runs the server that briefly holds your document, and keeps standard server logs including IP addresses for security and troubleshooting.
We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone, and we do not share it for advertising or cross-context behavioural advertising.
7. Deleting your data
In the app, open Settings and choose Wipe history. That deletes your fax records from our server and clears your local documents, saved recipients, and session log from the phone.
To have everything associated with your install ID removed from our systems, email [email protected] from any address and include the install ID shown at the bottom of the Settings screen. We will confirm when it is done. Note that deleting your records also deletes any unused credit balance, since the balance is the record.
8. Security
All traffic between the app and our server is encrypted in transit. The document is held at an unguessable address for the duration of the transmission and then removed. We keep the server patched and access to it restricted. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise, but nothing is kept longer than it needs to be, which is the most effective protection available.
9. Children
SatisFaxion is not directed at children and is not intended for anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Because we hold so little and it is all keyed to an install ID you control, the fastest route for all of these is the deletion process in section 7. Email us and we will help.
California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, and we do not offer financial incentives in exchange for data.
11. This website
satisfaxion.app is a plain informational site. It sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Our host records standard access logs.
12. Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or what we do with it, we will update the date at the top and note the change in the app. Continuing to use SatisFaxion after a change means you accept the updated policy.
